(TMZ)The 26-year-old long-haired wannabe's mane is actually a wig and it's got "Idol" execs flipping out. It seems Simon was right last week- Robbie is a fake!

These guys were hot:

Jason Castro -- He made a great choice of the Lovin Spoonful gem "Daydream," a tune that can't help but put a smile on your face. As the only guy who played an instrument (in this case, an acoustic guitar), Castro stood out even more. He had loads of personality and charm, a real entertainer.

Michael Johns -- having been in a band signed to Madonna's Maverick label, Johns definitely seems like the male who had the biggest previous break. He covered "Light My Fire" by the Doors, AGAIN. Great stage presence but didn't really rock it out when he could have.

Bobby Carrico -- the rocker sang "One" made famous by Three Dog Night.Decent job.

David Cook -- Good job! he sang "Happy Together" by the Turtles and again, they started it slow and then...speeded it up to the song's standard tempo. he was pretty good and moved around well.

David Archuleta --. Already a serious front runner for the finale, Archuleta looked smooth and confident and YET also boyish and to Amanda slightly creepy. He seems like a 36 year old trapped in a 12 year old body.

Everyone else ... good singers but pretty forgettable.

Scandal backstage at American Idol!

There's a big stink backstage on American Idol and it surrounds irish Rocker contestant - Carly Smithson who was heavily featured during Hollywood Week.

She was once a signed recording artist with MCA Records (when Randy Jackson was the prez),leading some "Idol" fans to speculate about the fairness of the competition.

"This is something that comes up for some reason every year: 'Oh, they're all professionals," says producer Nygil Lythgoe said of the controversy.

"From year one, all we say is you have to be [currently] out of contract.
Carly isn't breaking any rules and nobody ever said this is an amateur competition."

Casting call for Dora The Explorer!!!

Nickelodeon has noticed the success of Hannah Montana on the big screen and High School Musical on the TV and has decided to do the same for Dora the Explorer. Dora's being turned into a live-action TV movie. Sources say Nickelodeon will hold a national casting call for the project.

Dwight Yoakam will be inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame on Thursday . Dwight, Crystal Gayle and Florence Henderson will be inducted at a ceremony at the Lexington Center Bluegrass Ballroom in Lexington.

Lindsay Lohan is following in the footsteps of the most famous blond bombshell of them all — Marilyn Monroe.

In the issue of New York magazine on sale Monday, the 21-year-old star of "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" poses nude for photographer Bert Stern in a recreation of one of Monroe's most famous photo shoots, done shortly before she died.
Stern photographed Monroe in 1962 at the Hotel Bel-Air in California, six weeks before she was found dead from an overdose of barbiturates. Those images for Vogue magazine feature Monroe in next to nothing, posing nude with some scarves and jewelry as her accessories and sipping champagne. Stern recreated those images with Lohan this month, at the same hotel, with Lohan wearing a blond wig and not much else.

The 4-year-old son of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin wasn't at all alarmed when he was recently bitten by a baby boa constrictor, according to his mother. "He picked one of them up and it bit him on the finger, and he was so proud to have copped his first hit," Irwin's widow, Terri.

Brooks and Dunn have written a book arriving in stores May 12!

BROOKS & DUNN have written their first novel, titled The Adventures Of Slim & Howdy. The book, to be released May 12, will chronicle the fictional characters often mentioned in the liner notes of the duo’s albums. In the novel, the characters are engaged in a series of dangerous encounters while they chase musical success. The duo co-wrote the book with author Bill Fitzhugh.

HEATH LEDGER'S CAUSE OF DEATH RELEASED

Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of painkillers, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety medication and other prescription drugs. The New York City medical examiner said Wednesday the cause of death was "acute intoxication by the combined effects of six types of prescription drugs, including sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication, in Ledger's apartment.

... In response to the autopsy report, Heath Ledger's father, Kim, issued a statement on behalf of the Ledger family. "Today's results put an end to speculation, but our son's beautiful spirit and enduring memory will forever remain in our hearts. While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage.

Brittany out of hospital against doctors advice

Jamie and Lynne Spears said they were "extremely disappointed" to learn their daughter had been released from the hospital over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, saying that they are concerned for their daughter’s safety and believe her life is at stake. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."
Brittany spent the day dodging paparazzi as she drove around Los Angeles in a black Mercedes-Benz with an unidentified man. Paparazzi vehicle her car at each stop. More than 15 people circled the car at one point, shooting still photos and video.
Until Feb. 14, Spears remains under the conservatorship of her father, an arrangement created when a judge determines a person can no longer care for herself or her personal affairs. James Spears was named her conservator Monday, and he and attorney Andrew Wallet were made co-conservators of the estate.
As her conservator, Spears' father has been granted access to all of her medical records and authority to determine where Spears lives and who she sees.
